Marine Mechanics Course

Program Description
The goal of the Marine Mechanics course is to give students the technical know-how and practical understanding needed to maintain, diagnose, and fix marine engines and related machinery. The principles of marine engine systems, routine maintenance, engine and pump repairs, and the safe use of tools and equipment frequently used in maritime conditions are all covered in this practical course. Additionally, learners will learn about first aid, fire safety procedures, Maldivian maritime regulations, basic electricity, electronics, communication systems, and marine safety equipment. This course, which is offered in-person in Dhivehi, is perfect for people who have worked with marine engines in the past and want to hone their technical skills and increase their employability in the maritime industry.
