Program Description

The goal of the Certificate 3 in Travel and tourism is to give students the fundamental knowledge and useful skills they need to thrive in the fast-paced travel and tourism sector. In order to prepare students for entry-level positions in travel agencies, hospitality, tour operations, and customer service, the curriculum exposes students to fundamental ideas in tourism management, industry operations, and international tourist destinations.

Through courses like Introduction to Management, The Travel and Tourism Sector, and Tourist Destinations, students will learn about the travel and tourism industry. The curriculum emphasizes the development of customer service, destination management, tourism operations, and communication skills—all of which are crucial for providing high-quality travel experiences.

The curriculum, which is offered both in-person and online, helps students develop their professional abilities, industry awareness, and self-confidence by fusing academic knowledge with real-world application. Graduates will have the fundamental skills needed to work in the travel and tourist industry or pursue additional education in tourism and hospitality-related disciplines.
