Program Description

The goal of the ABMA Level 4 Diploma in Business Management (MNQF Level 5) is to give students a solid foundation in contemporary management techniques and business concepts. The program gives students the fundamental information, useful skills, and professional competences needed to function well in the fast-paced business world of today. It prepares students for both employment and future academic advancement by introducing them to important aspects of business, such as leadership, organizational structure, financial management, economics, and workplace behavior.

This certification enhances students’ comprehension of how companies function and how successful management supports organizational success. Introduction to Business Skills, Organizational Design, Leadership and Management, Organizational Behavior, Accounting and Finance, and Introduction to Economics are among the fundamental subjects covered in the Level 4 Diploma. These courses enhance professional development and advanced business and management studies by offering a well-balanced mix of theoretical knowledge and real-world application.

The qualification offers a route to further advancement into Level 5 and Level 6 qualifications, higher education programs, or entry-level and supervisory roles within business-related disciplines. It is roughly similar to the first year of higher education study.

Entry Requirements

General Entry

  • Successful completion of Higher Secondary Education OR
  • Attainment of a Level 4 qualification in a related field OR
  • Attainment of a Level 4 Foundation Study Program approved for the specific Diploma program.

Alternative Entry

  • Completion of a Level 4 qualification (unrelated), and successful completion of an MQA approved University Preparation Program*
    OR
  • 20 years old, completion of secondary school, 2 years of relevant work experience, and successful completion of an MQA approved University Preparation Program.
