Program Description

The National Certificate 4 in School Laboratory Techniques is intended to give students the advanced knowledge and practical skills needed to assist and oversee laboratory operations in educational establishments. This curriculum offers a structured learning pathway that improves students’ technical proficiency in scientific testing, equipment maintenance, safety management, and laboratory operations.

Preparing laboratory supplies, carrying out biological, chemical, and microbiological operations, upholding laboratory standards, and assisting instructors and students during practical sessions are all practical skills that students will acquire. Additionally, the program helps students acquire critical thinking, technical writing, mathematical, and scientific application abilities so they may work effectively in school laboratories.

This degree equips people to contribute to high-quality science instruction in schools and related institutions while ensuring laboratories are safe, well-organized, and efficiently managed through both theoretical learning and hands-on training.
