Program Description
The National Certificate 3 in Event Management is a foundational certificate created to give students the professional competencies, practical skills, and fundamental knowledge needed to organize, coordinate, and support successful events. This curriculum prepares students for entry-level positions in the expanding events, tourism, and hospitality sectors by giving them practical experience in event planning, organization, coordination, and execution.
Learners will gain practical insights into key aspects of event management, including organising and participating in event meetings, managing event registrations, sourcing and using industry information, planning in-house events, selecting suitable event venues and sites, and supporting event production activities. The programme also develops essential workplace competencies such as customer care, communication, professionalism, conflict management, cultural sensitivity, emergency response, computer operations, and sponsorship management.
