Boat Crew Course

Program Description

The goal of the Boat Crew Course is to equip students with the fundamental information and useful skills needed to operate as members of a boat or marine vessel crew in a safe and efficient manner. The foundations of marine vessels, rope handling and mooring procedures, navigation principles such as COLREGS, chartwork, and compass usage, as well as weather and environmental awareness for safe maritime operations, are all covered in this course. Additionally, learners will acquire actual boat handling abilities, comprehend loading and unload processes, and become more conscious of fire safety, first aid, and social responsibility. This course, which is offered in-person in Dhivehi, supports safe and responsible vessel operations while preparing students for entry-level positions in the maritime industry.
